Job Description
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project execution, and supporting the development of innovative advertising solutions. As the key liaison between clients and the agency's creative and strategy teams, the AE ensures client objectives are met on time, within budget, and with maximum impact. This role is ideal for someone with an advertising agency background who excels at strategic planning, communication, and fostering client trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their satisfaction with all deliverables.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with creative, strategy, and media teams to manage projects from briefing through execution, ensuring alignment with client goals and brand guidelines.
- Campaign Execution and Oversight: Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of advertising campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and quality control at every stage.
- Strategic Planning Support: Collaborate with account managers and strategists to understand client needs, contribute to strategic planning, and provide insights to guide creative solutions.
- Budget Management: Track project budgets, monitor spending, and communicate any scope changes to ensure projects remain profitable for the agency while meeting client expectations.
- Performance Reporting: Analyze campaign performance, prepare reports, and present findings to clients, providing recommendations for optimizations and future strategy.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve project issues, ensuring smooth project flow and consistent communication with all stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on advertising trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital platforms to provide clients with insights and innovative campaign ideas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in an advertising agency or similar environment, working directly with clients.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, advertising strategy, and digital and social media trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently and clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Proven project management skills, with experience in managing multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management software such as Asana or Trello.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
