Job Role: Social Media Manager

Job Description 

Social media managers are in charge of representing a company across social channels as the sole voice of the brand. They respond to comments, compile campaigns and create content. These experts provide organizations with the guidance needed to enhance their online presence.

Responsibilities

• Combine marketing and social media management skills to build and enhance paid social media presence and performance
• Support marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, implementation schedules and reporting
• Facilitate regular performance reports to be shared across media, creative, strategy and brand teams
• Track paid media results closely to core KPIs and proactively work with agency teams to manage recommended optimizations
• Conduct audits and research for both brand and industry
• Collaborate with various agency teams and manage media partners in an ongoing manner
• Ensure brand consistency in paid social media by adhering to brand standards and best practices
• Partner with creative team to produce relevant and engaging paid copy
• Provide regular status updates including but not limited to paid social performance results, production timelines and upcoming media plans
• Keep up with and share updates on trends, technology, pop culture and other impactful streams of information as it pertains to paid social media across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of client-facing industry experience managing the creation and delivery of great work
• Paid media planning and management experience required
• Experience with Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, Reddit, TikTok, Twitter, Snap and YouTube
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Knowledge of client and agency operations
• A can-do attitude to jump in and find solutions, sometimes with minimal guidance
• Naturally curious, a lifelong learner with a calm and confident presence
