Job Title: Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist

Reporting To: Head of Digital

Department/Division: Digital

Main Purpose/Job Summary:

Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist work to promote and strengthen an organizations brand by using social media platforms. There are a number of creative and analytical aspects to this role. Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist responsibilities revolve around organizing and running marketing campaigns over social media platforms (such as: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms used at the organization)

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor client’s content on social media platforms. This includes; 
  • Contribute to Planning online campaigns to increase fans and followers across social media platforms.
  • Implement approved plans for campaigns to increase fans across social media platforms as designated.
  • Developing and updating social media and marketing tools (such as keywords and interests).
  • Daily promotion of digital content across social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube). This includes; 
  • Contribute to Planning online promo campaigns for all Client TV shows.
  • Implementing approved plan for promo campaigns across Social media platforms as designated
  • Monitoring and modifying promo campaigns to ensure targets are met using cost effective techniques.
  • Evaluating social media platforms’ performance to develop new and/or modify campaigns to deliver desired business results.
  • Developing and updating social media and marketing tools (such as keywords and interests) to enhance online campaign results.
  • Liaising with other departments and external parties… 
  • To acquire post and ad content based on the client’s programs.
  • To assist improvement of digital content beyond Client Including the business development department to ensure brand consistency when planning and running online campaigns to promote client.
  • Including Facebook account manager and technical team to sort out any copyright or technical issues and ads in order to improve client presence on Facebook.
  • Produce reports using Social bakers analytics, Google analytics and other software analysis including 
  • On content to assess program performance across social media platforms.
  • Update reports for upper management to monitor performance across different social media platforms.
  • Other duties may be assigned. To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge skill, and/or ability required.

Essential Required Skill Set & Experience:

  • A knowledge of and an interest in the methods organizations use to promote themselves through social media
  • In depth understanding on core business social media platforms to maximize the reach of company brand and material
  • Execute and analyze the incoming data and create robust marketing campaigns
  • Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns
  • Analytical ability
  • Extensive knowledge in social media campaigns and platforms
  • Ability to multitask, to work on a number of projects at once
  • Ability to quickly understand the dynamics of the media business 
  • 5 years’ experience relating to Social Media and Marketing sector
  • Handling copyrights according to each platform specifications
  • Google certification

Education/Qualification:

 Bachelors Degree in Digital Marketing or equivalent
