Job Title: SCDM Country Manager

Reports to: GM

Division/ Country: Morocco


Based in Morocco; the Country Manager is responsible to drive the sales team by providing required training. Guiding, engaging, and motivating the team to achieve business goals. Responsible for complete operations and should have a 360-degree overview of business.


  • Demonstrate leadership and management of growing the products in the assigned region by providing strategic direction to ensure the growth and profitability of the business unit and company
  • Supervise, delegate, motivate the team in order to maximize its potential and performance as applicable
  • Taking complete ownership of P&L
  • Producing regular reports and reviewing performance with leadership team
  • Evaluate current business process and implement the procedures accordingly in order to maximize the operating efficiency
  • Performs related duties as assigned, such as preparing business development plans, revenue forecasts etc. for assigned regions, attending trade shows, implementing and advising on marketing strategy, monitoring and developing the performance of the Company
  • Establish and maintain a high-quality relationship with vendors and partners in alignment with the Company's strategy
  • Support with credit/payment performance and manage resolution of escalations
  • Liaise with operations department to manage the ordering and shipping of products
  • Establish strategic partnerships with vendors and works toward maintaining and upgrading partnership agreements
  • Effectively communicate the financial plan to the team and ensure that it is enforced. Continually monitor and control costs and ensure that targets are met as applicable
  • Meet with vendors and partners at the beginning of the fiscal year to fine-tune the business plan, set commitments, and targets, and agree upon levels of involvement
  • Ensure proper interaction and communication between the department, other business departments, and top management
  • Maintain awareness of technological developments and accordingly review current vendor/product list and promotional approaches
  • Monitors and manages account relationships with the objective of increasing the penetration and market share of the products in the assigned territory
  • Coordinating sales effort with marketing, accounting, logistics and technical teams
  • To ensure maximum brand exposure and yield from marketing budget
  • Track country risks and support the Company in identification, implementation and closure of risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, complaints


  • University degree in Management Information Systems required, Telecommunications & Computer Communication or equivalent
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in IT Sales and Channel management
  • Excellent written & verbal communication in English & French
  • Highly motivated, committed, with a genuine desire to succeed in sales
  • Excellent teamwork skills is a must with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience of handling multimillion $$ quotas, with proven records in achieving & over achieving sales targets
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a regional role
  • Having relationship and experience in dealing with Channel Partners in Morocco
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of Products/Solutions in Value Business, competitive products and industry trends
  • Customer oriented with the ability to listen, organize and champion key initiatives for channel development and customer satisfaction
  • Fully competent in the application of all required Sales/Marketing processes i.e. preplanning, approach, evolving needs, presentation, closing the sale, and after-sales service.
