Media Planner -Outdoor Media
Our Client, a global marketing and media agency that provides media strategy, planning and buying services to platforms that range from traditional outdoor, print, radio and television to digital, mobile and social media management is looking to hire a Media Planner to join their growing team.
The Media Planner works closely with the Sales team to source and selects the optimal media products for our clients and their products, to include the use of print media, radio, outdoor billboards, TV and digital channels, ensuring the effective management of advertising budgets.
Create media plans that support and achieve Group’s clients’ objectives producing action plans for advertising campaigns for Group’s clients.
Developing innovative and creative media and campaign strategies for clients.
Analyze and select the best media channels to support a client’s advertising strategy.
Assist the sales team in presenting media plans to new and existing clients, particularly
when more complex.
Develop and lead account planning for new and existing clients including budgeting and
goal setting across KPIs, and modelling the business impact.
Proofread and quality control all outgoing media artwork.
Conduct research into assets, new locations, software tools and data as required to fulfil the role.
Onboard new media owners via effective relationship Building
Build and nurture relationships with media owners.
Trend analysis - collate data on media channels, demographics and other
information that may aid sales and planning process.
Keep groups' media databases and presentation records up to date
Buy and sell at competitive rates.
Contribution to the sales process-use understanding of audience behaviour and media channels in order to develop and grow Group’s revenue within new territories and New clients
Assist in the training of salespeople as and when required.
Contribute to the identification of prospective clients and the nurturing of existing client relationships.
Provide strategic support to the sales team in developing opportunities to work with clients looking.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience within a media planning role.
Significant planning experience with multiple media channels.
Ability to compile campaign and media strategies for clients.
Thorough understanding of campaign evaluation metrics and ability to compile campaign reports for clients.
Deep understanding across all areas of media – digital, radio, outdoor, print and TV.
Extensive experience of presenting to and making recommendations to clients at all levels.
Significant experience in supplier negotiation.
A personal network and database of media owners.
Experience using NEOSYS or Dolphine media planning software (or similar ).
