Digital Project Director (Based in Dubai, will require to travel to Riyadh weekly)

Mission
The Digital Project Director will collaborate closely with project directors and creative designers
globally. The role focuses on assisting in 1/ the development and managing digital
platforms and clients 2/ the coordination of all aspects of project execution.

This role will be based in Dubai, but you will require to travel to Riyadh frequently.

Short-term responsibilities and scope of work
Digital:
Understand the digital requirements of the clients. This includes frequent face-to-face
interactions with project directors and clients.
Compile necessary external/internal digital needs and create delivery plan across
projects with clear deadlines and deliverables
Map, evaluate and build cost synergies with existing vendors and suggest new vendors
to effectively deliver all digital products
Oversee the delivery and quality of digital products, including, but not limited to:
Event websites: Selection of vendor (if not already selected), definition of website architecture and features, oversee of web content management system and updates
Event mobile apps: selection of vendor (if not already selected), definition of mobile app architecture and features, oversee of app content management system and updates
Technology activations: selection of vendor (if not already selected), definition of technology activation features, oversee of content management system and updates. Examples of previous technology activations include digital walls, social media feeds, touch screens, etc.
Assist in the management of the company’s various social media accounts, ensuring content is kept up to date, whilst simultaneously driving traffic to these sites
Establish a digital strategy roadmap for the GCC region (e.g. trends and technologies technology, recruitment needs) for consolidating the digital expertise
Build a solid network of vendors in the GCC region to assist in the delivery of all digital products
Manage the entire digital development process globally
Create a strategy and business case for creating propriety platforms, including an event application and other propriety software programs

Project management:
Serving as a project lead with select clients. This could include everything from coordinating cross-functional teams on projects, overseeing the quality of deliverables
produced by the team, preparing presentations, and updating project tracking documents and reports.
Ensuring the project is managed on time in all dimensions

Assuming primary responsibility for progress reports for the client
Handing over the file with full collateral, media and production documents

 

Westerners with a Minimum of 10 years of Digital experience preferred for this role.
