Job Role: Operations Manager (Freight Forwarding)

Job Location: Dubai, U.A.E.

Reporting to the General Manager regarding all the operational activities.
Handling departments including customer service, Operation and Admin.
Developing worldwide agency network & representative co for new business development opportunities.
In-charge of Pricing & negotiating rates.
Finalizing Agency Agreements with overseas agents.
Attending customer complaints regarding service issues. Conducting weekly meetings with all departments.
Conduct weekly debtors meeting and ensure debt collection, going through the financial statements with accounts.
Deciding selling rates for key customers & new customers.
Attending discussions with overseas agents for business development & co-operations, forwarding quotations to overseas agents for inquiries/exhibition & project cargo handling, sea air cross trade shipments.
Negotiation of freight rates with shipping lines / Agents & Air lines.
Monitoring Operations/documentation through internal information system to ensure Standard Operating Procedures.
